This is a very practical and detailed book for those that are serious about pole or post and beam construction. It was written in the late 70’s so some of the costing information is out of date, but that is not really important. What is important is that this is a really useful book. It is not a coffee table book, you won’t find lots of pretty full colour pictures (there are none, just black and white illustrations and photos), but if you’re looking for a “how to” book on pole construction, this is the best I’ve found.
