I used this to seal and enhance my travertine stacked stone back splash. It was easy to apply with a white cloth and after two coats, I had light and dark tints to my stone which was exactly what I wanted. Awesome stuff! One word of advice is to wear a mask of some sort, respirator. I did not do so and I smelled and tasted the strong smell for two days. Not healthy! This stuff does the trick but try to ventilate the area, if possible. I was in an enclosed half bathroom with no windows and should have used a fan.

Purchased this to enhance color of stone/rock fireplace facade. It brought out the color and veining of the rock the same way wetting it with water would make it look except without the shine. This is exactly what I had hoped for. Very happy with the results. I would have given this five stars except that it is very pricey. That being said, I chose to purchase from this vendor because they had the smaller size bottle, which is very hard to find, and at a better price than other vendors.

Does What is Suppossed to – a Little Goes a Long Way!, January 20, 2018

Purchased this to seal a thick California slate mosaic backsplash prior to installation. I cleaned the slate first, then when the slate was still slightly damp, applied the first coat with a 2 1/2 inch brush. I wiped off the excess with a microfiber cloth. It really enhanced the color of the slate. I applied three coats. I did this in a garage with the doors open, so fumes were not an issue. The bottle easily covered 30 square feet of Material (there is still some left). I let the slate dry for 48 hours before cutting and attaching the slate with the thin set. I used a pre-mixed mortar and this sealer really made cleaning the surface of the slate from mortar a breeze. This is expensive, but was worth every penny!
