Absolutely LOVE this book. My husband is a mechanic/ tech guy and very familiar with Haynes manuals, and he loved it. Our son is only 14 mo so its a little advanced for him, but he still likes the pictures. I know he’ll love it as he gets older.

Amazing!!! This is, by far, my favorite Bob the Builder book we have found. I am a mechanic and use these type of real manuals to fix my own vehicles. I wasn’t sure what to expect with this: was it a joke? was it a real maintenance manual that they put Bob on the cover? But then it arrived, and I love it! It. Is. Wonderful. It has gorgeous color photos of, like, 20, of the team members. It points out the names of major components, has little cutaway drawings so you can see the engine inside, or the axle or gearbox. It has little info boxes on each page with real, mechanical facts. One is about hydraulic fluid, another about why some vehicles have tractor treads instead of wheels. My son is almost 3, so mostly we look at the pictures and I talk about the simpler elements, but it is definitely a book he can grow with, and we can talk about more and more of the specific info about the trucks and characters he loves so much. One last tidbit for anyone else who was wondering: It is a slim, hardcover book, like a typical kids book, not thick and paperback like the Haynes series of manuals.

Ordered one for my son and one for his cousin for Christmas. They came in great condition, and is definitely a household favourite. Very informative for the Bob fan, but also to just learn about different machines too. It has some interesting pieces of information about each machine from the show, and many facts we did not know about them (like why a steamroller is called a steamroller). Only confusing thing is the version of the show we watch (american?) has Muck as a girl, but the book (british?) has Muck as a boy. Doesn’t really matter, just not really sure now if Much is a boy or girl? haha

I have D’Addario strings for my guitar for decades and was pleased to see that a set of these was much less that a set of guitar strings. I am new to banjo, so I can’t compare to other brands but the strings sound great on my 17 fret Irish tenor banjo. My banjo came with strings meant to be tuned like a viola and they did not sound right tuned to GDAE. These are a big improvement.

I’ve always used D’Addario strings on my other banjos, mando and fiddle, so now on tenor banjo. They are the best! They last longer, don’t stretch out falsely, and give me a solid note sound to stay in tune! I know these will last me longer than other brands that I have tried!
