I like the idea of a description of all of the tools.I also like the idea of telling me of what tools are dangerous.

This is a very nicely written, brightly illustrated book for young children learning about tools. Also recommended (for $4.99) is ABODE: (the picture dictionary of home construction and residential architecture), featuring brief, clear descriptions and vivid color photos of tools, building materials and beautiful architecture. Not written for children exclusively, but I think children would very much enjoy it. Here’s the link:

Good book for your beginner carpenter
Great kids book. Kids will want you to go and build with them after reading this book
